Gospel Brunch:
“Ushering in the Kingdom and the coming King”
Well I guess I’ll start off by saying I am not a blogger. The funny thing is that I never thought
much of blogs before now.
So then I guess the question is…”why start a blog?” “Why now?”
My answer is simple. God put it on my heart!
I believe we are living in the most pivotal and critical time in history. Not only for our nation but
for all nations. We constantly go back and forth about who will save or destroy the world, that
if we only have the correct elected official in office, “we” will recover. The thing is, God has
already “elected” someone…?
“And behold, a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well
pleased’” (Mtt. 3:17)
The problem is some discern the “times” and “seasons” we are in and some don’t.
“The crowd that stood there and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, ‘an angel has
spoken to him.’ Jesus answered, ‘this voice has come for your sake, not mine. Now is the
judgment of his world; now will the ruler of this word be cast out.”‘
The King is “knocking on the door” to return and we who are living in these times have the
privilege of ushering Him in. Wow do we need Him!
More is said in the Bible about the days we are living in, than any other day in the scriptures,
including the first advent of Jesus Christ. There are some 1,800 passages in the Bible that deal
with the second coming of Jesus, over 318 of these being in the New Testament.
(Article by Billy Graham: the second coming)
My vision is for the bride of Christ ascending the hill of the Lord to adorn Him with praise as in
the tabernacle of David. As the world grows in darkness the hill tops will radiate light!! I was so
encouraged by the turn out for our first gospel brunch and all the participation in it. Although, I
have to admit, there is plenty of room for improvements. By Gods grace it will come together
and be a place that reveals His radiant glory!
“The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. For He has
founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters. Who may ascend into the hill of
the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who
has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the
Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those
who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah”
Psalms 24:1-6 NKJV
My hope is that Riven Rock Ranch at La Calabria will be such a place “for such a time as this.”
